Happy Valentines Day~

This is really a festive period for most of us. There was Christmas, then New Year, and Lunar New Year for many just a few days ago. And today, it is Saint Valentine's day. A day celebrated with romance and love. Couples can be seen everywhere on this day to especially express their feelings towards one another.

Masks ready to be coloured~

Finally, after all the casting and filing and sanding... the masks are completed. Oh and so far... I've got 4 of them. How many of them will be around by the end of the day is still a secret hehe.

What I'll have to do next is to lacquer then sand. Then lacquer and put on a base coat. Which then I'll have to paint the 4 masks in flesh tone(omg, thats alot of work). On a seperate material, I'll have to paint the eyes. I intend to me a blue pair and a green pair at least hehe~
Later on, I'll have to draw the eyebrows and then followed by putting on lipstick for the mask. If all goes on smoothly... I foresee that it should finish within a week or 2... @_@

I've never made more than one mask simultaneously at the same time before, not to mention 4. I expect alot of work coming up. But I won't be using most of them... or any of them at the end of the day possibly. Who will be their new owners? Well... I didn't lie when I siad I haven't started selling my masks. These masks will be used for what I'll call "promotion" purposes. How will they turn out to be... I look forward to find out as well.

Happy Lunar New Year~!!!

In countries which uses the lunar calendar to count the days of a year, today will be Lunar New Year 2008. The zodiac animal which this year falls in is the year of the rat, also the first animal in the chronological cycle.

As a person of chinese origin, it is in my culture to rejoice to this special day. As towns and houses are decorate with drawings, ornaments and other forms of rat related symbols, it can be truely said that the country is over run with rats~ Only this time, no pipe piper is necessary as decorating objects with the zodiac symbol is an auspicious practice.

Wishing everyone who celebrates this day a wonderful Lunar New Year. For friends who don't celebrate this day, may you have a fantastic week ahead.
May all New Year wishes come true for you and wishing everyone the best of health and wealth in the year of the rat.

I guess many would be uninterested to hear more about the mask making process as it enters each of its stages. Turns out that I've made two casts of each of the two head forms, so that makes 4 masks... hehe ^_^
Guess I'll be ...busy busy busybusybusy (but its fun~^_^)

I've finally uploaded all the selected images (old and new ones) of the Gothic Lolita Angel photoshoot. If there is an award for firsts, the gallery will have 3. First debut gallery of Winter, First photoshoot with new background and first gallery of 2008 ^_^.
I'll try to add videos shortly... uh oh... when will that be... hehe >_<

Yay, Just finished creating two new models~^_^

Hi everyone,
You must be wondering what I've been busy with lately. Say hi to the early stages of my two new models ^_^... they are still in a very early stage of production. Here is a sneak peak at the work I'm doing. I've made two new kigurumi head form models which I'll be making masks from soon.

I learnt from the mistakes made on Yu and put what I've learnt into the production of these two latest models. I did one with an open smiling mouth and another with a tiny grin. >_<... I hope they turn out fine when completed... Don't worry about the bluish marks. Its all due to a new clay which I tried using... er... it is a sort of harder clay which made my fingers really tired from pressing and kneading it. The harden product is as hard as a brick >_< Hard to file/sand/polish as hell @_@
Model01 is also larger then the original Yu's head (ooh you can see Yu's headform on the left of New Model 01, the extreme left one is the prototype). Took me quite a while to get the two new head forms to this stage. I'm really pumped up to finish the product now.

I'll start casting the new models tomorrow. Then it'll take alot of work once again to paint, sand, polish ...etc. As much as I wish to update my website as often as I could, I'm juggling with too many things at the same time. Well, lemme try and make it more frequent again like before. Thank you for your support my friends.
