Happy Halloween dear friends~

Its halloween and what better excuse your need to put on a costume. I created a Halloween themed gallery, just a small one to mark this day. Asuka puts on her black PVC dress and long black gloves and leggings and to top it off, with a curled up witch's hat ^_^ Added a little more Halloween related accessories to her attire and walah~ Asuka'a a witch~^^

Its the time of the year, many students are feeling the pressure of impending exams. Classes are soon to end or has ended for some countries and in a few more weeks, it will be warzone for most people who are students all over the world.
Eventhough I don't have exams anymore, here I'm wishing all the best to every student in the world. For visitors who are working or not studying, have a great holiday season too.

Mask project constantly updated in the forums.

Hmm I haven't got time to post new images here, most of the chatting and updates are now taking place in the forums while I'm busy over a new mask model.

Just posted the third update to to the progress of the new mask. Its all lacquerd up and ready to be casted on. I'm getting quite eager to see how it will end up when finished each step it gets closer to finishing.

Lolita Angel Winter gallery opened

Winter has decended from the heavens as a cute lolita angel~^_^ The gallery for the white lolita angel dress is now opened. In the preview shown a few days ago, some pictures of Winter in this costume has been revealed. If you're waiting for more, the wait is over, do drop into the Lolita Angel Winter gallery to see more pictures. As usual this is a full photoshoot (which I haven't done one for a while) and all 3 sections of the full shoot can be expected to be updated. The only part which I have yet finished is the video. I still have to edit and cut them into proper portions and I'll be posting it up shortly. ^_^

At the meantime, I'm also occupied with continuing the second mask production process. For the past few days, the sculpted headform has been put aside to dry and harden. I think its almost done now... I think I'll do the first sand tomorrow when I wake up...(after breakfast of course) ^_^

What I'm expecting to be completed with regards to the sculpture are the sanding, lacquering... and if time permits (the lacquer has to dry first) I'll be able to make casts out of it. As usual, I'll probably make 2 casts. I reckon making two masks at the same time is more efficient than just making one. Though if I get orders, I think the more optimal number each time should be 3 or 4. They don't take much additional time... I mean while waiting for one to dry, I can work on a second or third without wasting time at all.

Well, I'm hoping that the mask turns out well, my hands are getting really tired from sculpting two headforms in a month and I spent a bomb getting the resources. If all goes well, I'll get my new character ^_^... secret for now. And the bonus is... I get to sell the extra to any willing buyers. hehe~

Another new mask began production

I started making another mask today. Details of what has been done so far can be read and discussed in the forums. To date, a number of people had asked to teach them how to make masks. I suggest why not start with me since I'm starting one now myself. Not sure if anyone is going to try making one anytime soon, its just a suggestion ^_^

Lately I've been busy doing many many small but time consuming things which made me unable and also don't feel like doing anyting else after doing those. So I haven't got a chance to do any updates on the website.
Phew... Time to get back to work on the site.

Also... recently, my new costumes kept getting retained by the China customs because they are trying to curb branded wear piracy lately... they apparently suspect that someone might be trying to smuggle clothes which looks like my costumes -___-...
The tailor is helping me sort it out... I just hope to be able to see them the next week hopefully >_<

Images of completed new mask added to forum

After the refurbishing, the new mask Tess, is completed. Today, I modeled in the mask in my pink cheongsam and took pictures to showcase it. Currently, I've no plans on continuing this Tess design unless specific request requires so. I still have the original headform of this mask, but I've lent it to a friend. Then again, I suppose, it still mean that I'm officially open to orders of Tess... but expect a moderate waiting time. I'll be attempting to make an even cuter mask (who would attempt to make a less cute mask anyway) but its all subjected to luck.

After selling this off, it will be a long time before I see it again... it got sold even before it finished refurbishing. I think I might miss it a litte >_<.
I hope the new owner treats Tess gently and respectfully~<3

Lately I've been looking for more resources and materials to make better masks... I've found most of them now and I just need to wait until I have a period of time which I'm free so that I can do it all at once. I thought of a name for the new mask which I put on sale on the forums, I think I will call it the Tessa mask. Hehe, the reasons behind naming it as such is just on a whim. Nope, it has no relation with Captain Tessarosa from Full Metal Panic. Once the refurbishing is complete, I'll post images of it in the forums and model it for a everyone to take a look.
Hope it finishes too >_<... I should look a little bit cooler~^_^

Took a long missed full cosplay photoshoot.

It has been a long time since I took a large photoshoot in a cosplay costume. The recent few were small event shots and occupational clothes. Remembering again how it feels, a cosplay costume transformed me into a different image altogether which normal clothes don't.

This time, Winter is out to play. She cosplays in a white lolita dress as a lolita angel~^_^
This dress must be the heaviest one I've got so far. Its a complete one piece gown, with frills and frills and more frills. I really like the tailor which made my costume, they spared no resources and made all the costumes I bought from them frill by frill, bead by bead.
The only problem with this costume is that, its extremely hard to wear. As it is one piece, tried to put it on by pulling it up from my legs at first... it didn't work as I can't get my arms into the sleeves. Then I tried to put it on like with T-shirt way, phew... got stucked half way and almost trapped myself in an awkward position @_@....
Squeezing my unmodest busts through the dress and then tucking them neatly without being too uncomfortable was the hardest part... having a high bustline really made it difficult for me to slip in~ >_<
After some stretching and a few wiggles... I managed to fit snuggly into the white cotton dress. Being cotton, it can stretch not one bit, giving me no assistance in letting me wear it.

That was the exciting part for the day. So once the costume is fitted, I tied the corset ribbons behind the dress, wore the gloves, wrist accessories, halo and wings and I'm ready to take some pictures. As usual the high heels were breaking my toes... nevertheless I beared with the pain and moved into cute poses for the camera. I took quite alot of pictures even compared to the photoshoots in the past. Then I recorded some video to be posted as well ^_^

Did a live chat that night after the long and painful(toes) photoshoot. Managed to get to try stickcam with multiple videos showing. Thank you KigCasey for trying it out with me. And thank you all the visitors who chatted with me during the live show. Hope you have enjoyed the early preview of the costume~^^

It took me a while to get out of the costume. Once again, the busts are in the way... wiggled hard and long until I almost wanted to give up. Hehe... the feeling of the dress fitting snuggly with no easy means of taking off did felt pretty exciting ~_~

Off meet photoshoot gallery opened~

The gallery for the meetup with Yukari has been opened. I seperated the the two different costume styles into two sub galleries namely the maid style waitress attire and the casual sleep wear attire. There is another video soon to be added into the casual sleep wear attire gallery... hopefully soon @_@

This is the first kigurumi meet up for both Yukari and Yu, We've learnt quite a number of things in regards to a meetup photoshoot. Since it is our first time, please bear with us for any inconsistencies and background settings problem >_<... hehe

I have a spare mask for sale~

Regarding the mask which I was making, it is actually completed. I didn't have time to do an update all this time because I was on a trip to meet Yukari for a photoshoot. And to do other fun things people do during holidays.

Yeap so the mask was finished and I have tested it out. Like any artwork, the outcome is highly dependent on luck. Seems like the mask turned out fine, but I kinda feel like I want to dump it and try making another one. And so instead of just leaving it lying around, I thought why not see if anyone wants to buy it and help me cover the cost of the next project a little.

During a mass chat session, there appears to be a number of friends willing to be takers. In order to avoid confusion, I decided to start a thread in my forums to bid for this mask. Please go to the Mask for Sale thread to find more images of the mask and detailed remarks.

The reason I want to sell the mask is because, firstly, the colour doesn't suit my zentai. Colours are very limited unfortunately for me in where I live now. Tools as well. The outcome is that the mask looks a little more tanned than I'm used to. I hope to try again in making a new mask until I get satisfied. Not sure how many I will end up making until I get what I want, but I will not be able to continue if I keep covering the costs of my projects by myself. Hopefully I can get a model as versatile as the Yu mask and I may eventually use that as a generic template.

Official meeting with Yukari~ ^_^

Well, from the froums, I guess that many of you must have been wondering where have I been missing to. I was on a holiday trip to somewhere (secretive hehe~) to meet up with a kigurumi friend... and of course to tour the place.
We took a photoshoot with a good friend of mine, Yukari during this holiday trip.

It was our first time having a photoshoot with another kigurumi cosplayer and it sure is tons and tons of fun~ >_<... We took over 600 pictures but I doubt I'll be able to post most of them up in my gallery~ There is one costume change from the maid outfits into the casual sleeping wear attire. We took most of the pictures in the bedroom in various poses... and we even have a video.

The entire photoshoot took like 5 hours but that got neither of us tired. I wore the red waitress costume with the black leather corset while Yukari wore my red maid costume (first worn by Asuka in my gallery) and we did the shoot. After changing, we wore our casual wear with the theme of "bedtime" since we're in a bedroom afterall. Special thanks to our photographer hidaza from the forums. Unfortunately, we were only to do the photoshoot once, I would have loved to try on switch into more costumes and take more pictures in different venues.
