Saber try out~

With permission, the Saber mask has been taken out for a try out~ Took a number of pictures and did a few minutes of live. Saber took a spin in the baby blue yukata and later a flash in her knickers. Looks ok so far... Realised that the hair is very difficult to mess up... becuase, there is pretty much no free flowing hair lol. Even the sides are very short and didn't reall get tangled at all. A very convenient fact... well the benefits of short hair (or no free hair) ^_^ The mask is very easy to put on and off, there is no hair getting in the way, except for that the wearer needs to be extra careful when remove and putting on the mask. This is because of the wraped in back of the mask in the Saber design~

Posted a few quick ones down below, there will be a dozen or so more that I'll put up in the next few day's time. Hmm with that, documentation for this mask is complete. What do you thing of it? ^_^. I hope to quickly send it off, would be good to clear some space for the next order. Quite busy lately, will try to post updates on the next upcoming one soon~

Saber cute version?

Hmm finished the Saber mask for Manalight today. Phew, it is more troublesome and tedious than I imagined it to be. Took about 2 days of come and going to make each parts and wait for glue to try lol. The pictures of the finished mask and also the other recently finished masks can be found in the "mask customisation for sale" section~^_^

Hehe how has everyone been? Looks like everyone has something interesting to share all the time. Daza and Casey got a new friend in Melbourne which shares their kigurumi cosplay interests~^_^ They had a meet up today and took a fair number of (disorientated) pictures lol... As for me, I'm really really busy lately. Finishing the Saber mask is like a huge load taken off. It has been a while so I wanted to finish it so that I can send it away and clear my back log. Well a new customer's order is in, but as a new order, it can still wait. I'm not busy with kigurumi mask making stuff hehe... its other stuff related to the non-hobby side of life~^^

C2 the red haird waitress finale photoshoot~

Thought that I will like to give the refurbished C2 mask a trial, asked Shaun for his permission and was allowed~^_^ Took the C2 mask (refurbished with a new paintwork, new eyes and a red hairdo) in a finalne photoshoot today. From the pictures afterwards, I remembered the C2 mask for being able to do a very hehe... belittling look, it really does look cute like that lol (picture above)~ >_<

Will be missing you C2, hopefully Shaun will take care of you well ^_^ heheh~ Do drop in the gallery, a new gallery has been opened for the C2 red haired waitress. Hmm only pictures are posted in the gallery this time. Well hehe, people who turned up for the live chat will know why... video too ecchi @_@ lol.

The only thing which is really different in the new C2 mask is the hair. The new permafix and bulk techniques gave the mask a whole new look. Other than that, the mask is exactly the same. Realised that kigurumi masks and hair go hand in hand. If the C2 mask has her hair tied away, the look can become very different.

In the same section, I will be working on the next challenging mask, the Saber mask. I wonder how will the T-fa mask look like with the hair tied back lol.

Just a small update. The last of the 2 C2 masks has undergone refurbishing and will be wedded to a new master soon.. sob** sob** Feels almost like a parent moved to tears seeing their daughter in a wedding gown... the C2 mask looks so gorgeous and sexy in the new hairdo~^_^;

Hehe, cheesy metaphor. It is the weekend now, the new mask will be shipped first time on Monday next week. Wish to clear the current batch as it has been a while. The C2 mask is not the only mask on the way to completion. The Saber mask is also almost finished. All that is left is the attachment of the hair. I thought through a method to do it, but I can't wait to find out how it will turn out actually... its kinda interesting for me hehe.

Exciting it may be, I do hope that I will find time to work on it hehe~ All the suit orders has arrived. Dye-ing is another major task I need to do before I can ship them out. Hehe, collected quite a number in the mask order customisation thread in the forums. I hope to continue growing the numbers inside~^_^.

The suits have arrived~!!!

I am very sorry for the delay to all HQ suit buyers. The delivery seem to have taken longer than expected. Well, it has been over 1 month since the order was made is it not? I hope that is still within the tolerable duration for you. It is a mistake up on the postman's part, 1 week ago it arrived but the postman who was new at this time couldn't find my location. At least it wasn't lost, I believe you can still trust in the EMS postal services.

I didn't realise the size of the order was this large, the suits and extra fabric came in a large looking parcel weighing about 7kg. Then I knew that I will have work to do. I will try my best to get them sent to you as soon as possible. Some of them are already expected to be sent tomorrow and the day after.

It also sadly reminded me that a friend too who is also my customer wasn't able to wait for the order's arrival. A supportive friend and member, Kooh is no longer with us.

I am working on a number of things lately, been unable to spend a lot of time on one task either. I am leisurely making a new cosplay costume, Asuka's test plugsuit when I can find time. I took a single progress picture and posted it in the related thread here:

I have yet touched the hair accessories which have been casted and ready for almost a week already. Really wish to get down to it more. The main part of the costume, the red a gold parts of the suit arrived with the other bodysuits today. It came in 3 parts, the pants, the body and the top. Phew... its... kinda a time consuming job to add all the details to the suit as shown in the drawing. But I guess it will be fun.

The saga of "very very busy times yet still having fun"~^_^;

How is everyone, good I hope. Been occupied in a myriad of things to do these days. And still a couple of mask orders moving slowly but steadily in the pipeline. Took some time to post up some new pictures of the sleeveless Asuka and did a little write up on a few updates which I have made so far~^_^;

For the buyers of the high quality material suit, the parcel is delayed -__- Most of the masks ordered by the same people who ordered those suits have already been finished. As for the people who ordered the suit the third time around, no worries, so far the orders has been following according to plan~^_^

I really hope to clear the current bunch of orders, the masks are taking up a fair bit of room. So... hehe, hang in there, sorry to keep you all waiting. Well its only been 30 days... but usually I send them out in 30 days~^o^ Thats the thing, I forsee myself taking more time to finish the masks nowadays... well still not long, probably about 2 months instead of 1 now. Currently working on refurbishing the C2 mask and making the new Saber mask. Its now all ready to be painted... all the hard part of the mask making process is over now. I used a different paint so that the top coat will look a little more matt and catch the paint better. An earlier brand of base coat paint seems to hang on to a chemical smell for some time... well hmm... getting better with each mask~^_^

Asuka eyes adjusted

Took a small shoot today to test out the Asuka mask's eyes after adjusting them. Hmm seems like a small tweak to the eyes can make the mask look and feel somewhat different. What do you reckon? Asuka cosplayed (without her red hair clips) in the school uniform attire that Yu sported some time ago here:

Also, started working on the casted mask designed for Manalight to look like Saber. Hmm I wonder how will it turn out... I hope it won't be too shabby lol. I've started documenting the designing process here:

Asuka sleeveless and bandaged~

Today, Asuka modeled in her plugsuit sleeveless. In the movie, End of Evangelion, Asuka appeared in bandages especially her right arm symbolising her injuries during her fight VS the Eva series. Hehe... anyway if you're interested, do watch Evangelion~^_^ New movies are coming out too, watching the original TV series will help you understand(not) the new movies more lol~

Took a number of pictures and video too. Hopefully I will have time to put them up soon lol~ I still have the T-fa mask... hmm I should make a point to use her sometime. Other than that, I've sold the rest hehe~^_^; Its really hard to keep masks lying around in my room... I still need to upgrade the Yoko headform when I have time. Always nice to keep an opened mouthed design for variation~^_^ This mask cosplaying Asuka is the new Asuka mask modified from the C2 and Ignis mask mentioned in the forums. I'm always lazy once the mask is usable, there are a few modifications to the eyes which I haven't bothered to spend time with. Well... on the whole, I think its fairly ok for now.

Asuka mask debut~

Today is the first time ever that I made my own costume from scratch lol~ I bought a couple of metres of yellow satin and made Asuka's sundress using only the portable sewing machine I bought some time ago~^_^ I originally wanted to buy the costume off my fav tailors, but its gonna cost me US$55 at best for just such a simple dress. I can understand since the shipment fees can't get any lower even if the dress is really simple.

Below are some pictures of the dress in making... well by the time I took these pics, the top part and the skirt part has already been finished >_<; All that is left to do in the picture is the pleat the skirt, and then combine the top and bottom together... I really learnt a fair bit on sewing today by doing this hehe~^_^














I decided to use this costume to debut my new mask officially~^_^ The Asuka mask~ This mask will replace the Ignis mask in my products page and I will be renovating the products page shortly too (in a few days time) to facilitate for shoppers to be able to understand and obtain the masks more effectively~^_^

The Asuka mask has evolved from its original headform, the C2, into the Ignis and finally into the Asuka~^_^ Well there can be alot more to experiment with on the shape of the eye. For now, I made the eyes a little narrower and I left it as it is~ Hehe, since its the Asuka mask, I have made plans for a number of her known apparels with this yellow sundress as one of the first~^_^ Asuka has alway been one of my fav chars, I used all I learnt up till now to make this mask >_< The high quality zentai is also helping a lot. Its making the skin texture look softer and at the same time very opaque, if you recall how my former skin toned suit still show some skin @_@...

Being a C2, Ignis descendent, the Asuka mask is the alluring/seductive looking mask model. I made her cheeks more slim and the head slightly smaller compared to the Ignis. She's been on live shows the past couple of days, but this is the first time the mask is used (after the eyes have been adjusted) in pictures. Presenting the Asuka mask, Asuka cosplays in the sundress~^_^
