Back in action~

There were a few reported bugs with regards to the forum but now it has all been fixed. Therefore the settings update for www.kigurumicosplay.com is finally completed~^_^ Thank you to Kenshin and Venomi for pointing out a few bugs, if anyone else spotted anything which isn't working the way it should, don't hesitate to notify me ^_^

I have been on a holiday somewhere previously and just came back. There are quite a fair amount of kigurumi related work as well as other work waiting for me to sort hehe ^_^; For the new HQ suit orders, the China side of things are still slow due to the fact that Chinese new year only just passed. Has it been 15 days since then yet? almost... And you can understand how people are slow to regain their pace at work after a long holiday~ ^_^;

So thank you for your patience, for those who ordered the suits. By next week things should be slowly picking up and you orders will get to you definitely for sure. I hope all of you take care and do drop in a message or two in the forums sometime~^_^

www.kigurumicosplay.com fully functional and operational~

Thank you all for waiting. The website address www.kigurumicosplay.com has now been fully implemented and is now fully operational. The former website wyu.ulmb.com will not longer be used ^_^; As a commemoration to the relieve of wyu.ulmb.com by www.kigurumicosplay.com, I have updated and released another gallery from the offline meetup during Xmas 2009~^_^

The problems that has been fixed for having the URL fixed is that now all URLs can be referenced properly without forwarding necessary in the background. Addressing each forum topic will now show its real URL in the address bar instead of the formerly masked URL where every page was http://www.kigurumicosplay.com unless you open in new window. And now favicon should work on all pages as well~phew~ ^^;

With this, I can also start collecting proper stats regarding hits to the website with fewer uncertainty. Better tracking and crawling should be now accessible to web crawlers. In other words, this is how it should have been to function properly~

Anyway, the new gallery is of pictures taken in the most recent off meet during Christmas 2009. The lolita dress shoot isn't very big, only about 30 pictures are taken in total. However there are two fairly decent length videos which presented how the kig girls look like in costume. Be sure to check it out. More pictures of the off meet will be coming but hehe... I'm not sure when will I find time to put the rest up, there are quite a fair bit as well. To discuss and find out more about the off meet, please visit the forum thread below:

Asuka's black and white lolita dress photoshoot video

A peek at what Asuka wore for her date on valentine's day. Hehe in terms of official costumes there aren't many as cute as her black and white frilly lolita dress~^_^ With the glossy pleather top, soft cotton frills, black leggings and gloves, Asuka sure is head turner~ The video taken during her photoshoot has been posted and a few new stills as well. It is still in within the 15 days of of the Chinese Lunar New Year and plenty of businesses in China as closed. Anyone of you purchased costumes or expecting any items at all from the prospering country? Are you getting any delays? Hehe... I do and I must say, it is perfectly normal and that one may need extra patience during this time. Think of it like the Christmas and New Year period... nearly nothing gets done on time if its affected by the holidays~^_^

After the Lunar Near Year, work and work related things will be picking up very shortly and the busy times will be returning soon. This will also mean another year of repeated fun and excitement. Let's look forward to another year filled with events and gatherings. Not to mention also spending each moment of our time not only on our hobbies but also on things that will help other and people in the community~^_^

Asuka ushers in a Happy Lunar Near Year~^_^

The Lunar New Year falls on 14th February this year kicking start to the year of the Tiger~^_^ For those who celebrate the Lunar New Year, their Valentine's day plan will be a little side tracked hehe. Do you celebrate Lunar New Year, or also called Spring festival and Chines New Year. Whether you to or do not, I still wish you a outstandingly auspicious and properous new year ahead~^_^

Red has always been a colour of favour for the chinese new year festive, Asuka didn't need to do much as her plugsuit completely paints her in red. She welcomes the new year for everyone in her red plugsuit~^_^The rest of the Shikinami Asuka in her plugsuit photos have all been uploaded here. There has been so many back logged images that I need to put up that it seems nearly impossible to catch up now lol... see how then~^_^;

I have a couple of new costumes as well as videos which I want to put up. Lately I'm a little busy hopefully everyone is occupied with something they enjoy doing as well.
The end of the year and the beginning of he year has always been the busiest with Chirstmas, New Year, Lunar New Year and Easter coming up. Lots more fun to come soon, take care when playing hard~

Hihi~^_^ Good day to you dear visitor and friend. It has been a while since both www.kigurumicosplay.com and wyu.ulmb.com leads to my website. The reason is that some senior members and friends are still used to wyu.ulmb.com and so I decided to let it take some time for people to switch to using www.kigurumicosplay.com
In the meantime, www.kigurumicosplay.com being just a mask over the true URL work nearly perfectly, except it is not perfect. Some URLs in the forums can still only be accessed via wyu.ulmb.com

I wish to let everyone know that in the next few days, I'll be switching completely to using the URL www.kigurumicosplay.com
For any of you who are still using wyu.ulmb.com, please take a note of this, and change your bookmarks accordingly. Hehe, thats all I wish to say~^_^
Let's give it some time for the changes to settle in, all of us already did migrated from the former Proboards forum into the new phpBB3 one, so I believe it will turn out just fine.

Addicted to Bad Apple~

First of all, I'll like to mention that I have updated the fanarts gallery page with 2 fanarts and a sketch as requested by members. Those fanarts added are all fanarts from the "All craftworks and fanarts" section. Hehe the title pic has little to do with the topic, except that its from a while back... like a couple of the fanarts. Its actually a ZIPAI photo. Taken by my mobile phone held in my hand hehe~

As the title suggests, I recently found a really nice animation with song that I really like and keep repeatedly playing it non stop. I first found it on Danny Choo's and then I got onto YouTube and found plenty of cool stuff on it. Apparently, someone make a stop motion video of the animation above (in a nutshell, taking individual photos to form an animation) with 7000+ pictures. And it even caught the new media giant, CNN's attention. I've attached the original animation below, but do check out the stop motion clip which made it so famous, and the CNN report. All the links listed below~^_^

Shikinami Asuka Lolita Black Dress~

Shikinami Asuka wore her favourite black and white lolita fashion dress and took a small shoot in it. This time around, the costume is more exact to the actual artwork design with the frills at the top of the knee high leggings. The black portion of the dress is made from black pleather, a kind of synthetic leather-like material. Which is the reason why it gives off a little bit of shine. Hmm does anyone know if pleather can be shined? And the leggings are made from metallic black lycra. Not sure if you can see tell its glossiness from the photos. I have attached some pictures below, I will put up some more related pics when I have time.

I will be extra busy the next few weeks or so. Live chats will be tough, but MSN and forum attendance should not be affected~^_^ Anyway, we have another cute Saya mask user who will be making her appearance very soon ^_^. Its a Megurine Luka custom~^_^. Details can be found here:

For those ordering suits and masks from me, the suits should not have any delay. But the mask production are estimated to take between 2 to 2.5 months to arrive at your doorstep.

Mini update: Asuka's red plugsuit~

I just want to give a few updates on things that I found and did recently. Starting from the earliest, Loopy's Megurine Luka mask (Saya custom) has been shipped and Loopy says in a forum thread that it will arrive tomorrow. Hehe, I think Loopy is excited, but I too am very curious how it will turn out. Its the second Saya mask after all, and I too like the Megurine Luka character alot too~^_^.

The next thing I wanted to talk about is that I took Shikinami Asuka and put her in her red plugsuit the other day. Took a few pictures and videos of her as you see at the top of this post. Can't wait to edit the videos and pictures to put them up. Might take a while as I'll be going somewhere for a couple of weeks. But I'll be still active around here and the forums, especially if anyone interested in finding out more about kigurumi cosplay comes around.

Talking about going away for a few weeks, please finalise any suit orders or mask orders before I leave. I will still be able to process the orders as some of the work down doesn't require me around. I have decided to put the former Asuka mask on a special discount. I will be able to send this beautiful Asuka mask quickly interested buyers, but please do so before I leave. I recently started watching a new anime series called Baka to Test to Shokanjo. Its incredibly hilarious with a fair amount of kawaii-ness and ecchi-ess~^_^. It caught my attention as is recently won an award for best "male character" in a novel contest, and this male character looks 101% as cute as the cutest anime female char in the show~ lol...
